A beautiful early Morris Minor, in splendid condition following extensive restoration, which began in 2009. First registered in July 1950, this is a smashing example of the now quite rare lowlight tourer, which offers a very enjoyable driving experience, particularly with the hood down. The restoration included a full stripping down of the body to bare metal, and rebuilding as necessary. The interior was all renewed and is really very, very good; the hood and side screens, again, have been renewed are top quality canvas and fit very well. As far as we can see, the specification of the car is totally original. It starts easily and runs and drives very well indeed, with a nice easy to use 4-speed gearbox, the engine is nice and smooth with good oil pressure. The wheels, tyres, exhaust and battery are all excellent. The car has attended rallies and apparently won first prize at the National Morris Minor Rally in 2015 and second prize at the Newby Hall Rally in the same year. It comes with Heritage Certificate and continuation log book from 1959, showing the current registration number, a photographic record of the restoration and V5C.
We are always pleased to consider part-exchange for other early post-war or pre-war cars, (or for good MGBs) and can offer economic delivery to most parts of mainland Britain.
