This little car is in need of light renovation to the bodywork and mechanics. The bodywork is generally very sound and we think mainly original – it even has the correct wing piping around the joints. The engine is stuck at the moment, probably because the car has been in storage since 1979 – the last owner had the car for all of this period. The interior of the car is good, having been re-upholstered in recent times. The original rubber floor mats are still present. The wheels are good and there is a Pytchley sunroof which operates satisfactorily, as do all four wind-down side windows. We will provide a windscreen glass with the car. The doors fit perfectly and the car moves about freely. The clutch and brakes are not seized and the gearbox seems fine. The car comes with V5C, V5 and continuation book from 1963 and we believe that the registration is the original, from Norwich.
We are always pleased to consider part-exchange for other pre-war cars or early post-war cars, (or for good MGBs) and can offer economic delivery to most parts of mainland Britain.
