A partly restored car for sale, on behalf of a good customer who is unable to complete the project. Most of the hard work appears to have been done and the car has been run during the restoration. Work so far has been completed to a good standard and the car will make an absolutely superb drophead coupe once finished. The mechanics of the car have been restored and repainted, including an overhaul of the engine. A new wiring loom has been fitted but needs connecting up. The wings have been restored but need painting, as does the bonnet. The rest of the bodywork is good and does not require repainting. The interior needs finishing – the front seats have already been re-covered, the hood frame needs covering. The car runs and drives although there is still some work outstanding in this department, including connecting up the cooling system. The wheels and tyres and the exhaust are all good. In a nutshell, it needs the upholstery finishing, some paint work and completion of the wiring and a few little mechanical jobs. These cars are rare and seldom come on to the market, so this represents a rare opportunity. The car is located in the Bristol area and we would be pleased to arrange a viewing for you. It will, of course need to be taken away by trailer. V5C.
We are always pleased to consider part-exchange for other pre-war or early post-war cars, (or for good MGBs).
