Austin Big Seven 1937

Something of a time-warp, this car is very original, never having been restored.  The bodywork, paintwork and the interior are all as when the car was built, apart from the two front seat cushions which have been re-covered, and the sliding part of the sunroof which has also been re-covered.  The condition is what you would probably describe as ‘good oily rag’.  It starts easily and runs well, although the tappets are a little noisy.  It has recently had a new clutch plate and some valves.  The car is sound underneath but obviously not show-winning.  It has been in the same ownership for the last 17 years and has been used fairly regularly during this time.  Everything seems to work in the car, including the charging system, lights, windscreen wiper etc.  A very inexpensive pre-war car to use as is, or to sympathetically restore.  Comes with V5C, copy handbook and parts list, some old MOTs.

We are always pleased to consider part-exchange especially for good MGs, or other interesting pre-war cars, and we can offer economic delivery to most parts of mainland Britain.

We also sell cars on a commission basis – no sale, no charge.
