Austin Seven Special 1936

Registered on 21st March 1936 as stated on the V5C, this super little Austin Seven Two Seater Sports has been built up by the current owner who has been in possession of the car since 1994.  The said owner, an engineer, has made an excellent job, carrying out all the major work himself.  The car is based on a Ruby chassis, with standard Austin Seven mechanics apart from rod brakes to the rear, Dante cylinder head, SU carburettor and custom-made manifolds.  The bodywork is mainly aluminium over a steel tubular frame, with steel wings and bonnet.  It is all in excellent condition, including the paintwork, the hand made leather seats and the underside of the vehicle.  The car runs well and gives sprightly performance.  12 volt electrics.  This is an excellent car for trialing, for which it has already been used, and suitable for Austin Seven events.  Good file of paperwork with old MOTs, old V5 and continuation book from 1957.  Ready for immediate use.

We are always pleased to consider part-exchange especially for good MGs, or other interesting pre-war cars, and we can offer economic delivery to most parts of mainland Britain.

We also sell cars on a commission basis – no sale, no charge.
