Built in Abingdon in October 1952, this splendid MG in left-hand drive form is in terrific condition, having undergone an extensive restoration prior to returning to this country from the USA in 2014. There is a photographic record of the restoration, showing the car stripped down and detailing some of the work carried out. The bodywork, including paintwork and panel fit, is excellent, with no rust and a good shiny finish in MG red. The interior is good and nicely patinated and the chromework is as new. The underside of the car is very clean and tidy indeed. It starts easily and gives good oil pressure with no overheating. On the road, it performs well and is a pleasure to drive. The hood and sidescreens, although vinyl, are in very good condition and fit well. This is a matching numbers car and comes with V5C and copies of the Ohio Certificate of Title and NOVA form, also, an original handbook and aforementioned photographs.
