This is a splendid MG TF, which we understand was manufactured late in 1953. It was restored in 1987 and further improvements have been carried out since then, including engine rebuild (rebored to 1350cc in 2004), fitting of a 5-speed gearbox and a professional repaint in a glorious shade of red. It has upgraded traffic indicators, wind deflectors and stainless steel sports exhaust. The chrome wheels are excellent, with matching Firestone tryres and the rest of the chromework is very good. The interior of the car is excellent with leather seats, correct door cards with pockets and again, excellent dashboard top. The underside of the car is very good – very clean and tidy. The car starts easily and runs well, it drives very nicely indeed, enhanced by the 5-speed gearbox which really does make a difference – the 5-speed gearbox (apart from 5th gear, obviously), feels just like an original MG gearbox to use – nice and tight. This car is a credit to its current owner who is selling only due to lack of use. Comes with V5C, workshop manual, old MOTs, handbook and old receipts.
