First registered on 12th January 1960, this is a lovely example of this iconic sports car, ready and willing for immediate use. The car was extensively restored by an MG specialist a number of years ago, and has been very well maintained by the most recent, and longstanding owner (14 years) during his ownership. The structure of the car is excellent, including the chassis etc, the chariot red paintwork is good with a few blemishes here and there, the under bonnet area is well presented, and the underside of the car is clean and tidy. The black interior is good, including door cards, leather seats, carpets and floor mats; the hood and side screens as you can see, are very good, fit properly and are easy to erect. The mechanics of the car are excellent, starting and running well, with no issues. A few minor modifications have been made to improve the driveabilty, including a nice, wood-rimmed sports steering wheel, electronic ignition, electric cooling fan, and most importantly, a five-speed gearbox. We think the engine is the original, and this is nice and lively. Wheels and tyres are good – the wire wheels were only fitted in the last few years. Good history file including receipts, old MOTs, driver’s handbook. V5C. All in all, a really nice MGA, ready to enjoy straight away, and at a very reasonable price.
We are always pleased to consider part-exchange especially for other MGs, and can offer economic delivery to most parts of mainland Britain.
We also sell cars on a commission basis – no sale, no charge.
