Unexpectedly available again – genuine reason – and a superb example of the iconic 1960s MGB offering the advantage to many people, of an automatic gearbox. If you’ve got a dicky left leg – this is the one for you (or actually, me for that matter!!) The car was professionally restored in the 1990s and has remained in excellent and well maintained condition ever since. The Mineral Blue paintwork is first class, and the interior, which was obviously re-trimmed at the time, is again, in very fine order. It retains its original style seats to front and back, which is unusual these days. The car is in excellent structural order and the underside is as clean as a whistle. The engine bay is nicely detailed, with its original engine, and boasts some improvements such as copper brake pipes, servo, electronic distributor and extra cooling fan. An oil cooler is fitted, probably from new. The car starts easily and runs very well without any problems, giving lively performance made easy by its automatic gearbox which is easy to use. No overheating and good oil pressure. The car stands on excellent spoked wheels with matching tyres all round. The chrome work, including bumpers, spinners etc is good. In addition, it benefits from LED lights, driving lights and high intensity driving lights for use in bad weather. Comes with V5C, Handbook, and some paperwork going back to 1993. If you are looking for an automatic classic in this price range, you won’t do better than this – Sara STILL quite fancies it for herself, so hurry up!
