An inexpensive entry-level MGB, with all the right components – red paint, overdrive, and wire wheels! It was the subject of a home restoration in 2002, and appears to be good and sound. The engine was replaced in 2003 with an engine from 1975. The car looks great from a distance, but further inspection shows that it would benefit from some improvement, hence the price. We haven’t driven it yet, as we are waiting for a battery, and will add details on this later. The interior is good, although the headlining has become detached from the roof. Comes with history file and V5C. We are selling this car as an ongoing project – it will need recommissioning and an MOT before it is ready for road use (although technically, it doesn’t require an MOT, in our view, it is essential).
If you are interested in the car, please telephone (PLEASE don’t email your questions). We can tell you more and answer any questions you have – it’s so much quicker by phone, and to be honest, since lockdown, we have been inundated by email enquiries which take so long to answer.
We are always pleased to consider part-exchange especially for good MGs, or for othe interesting classics, and we can offer economic delivery to most parts of mainland Britain.
We also sell cars on a commission basis – no sale, no charge.
Please telephone for more information on 01723 859886 or 07876 741183 (please, no texts) at any reasonable hour, 7 days a week.
