First registered on 1st October 1973, this tartan red MGB comes with overdrive, Webasto type sunroof and wood rimmed steering wheel, and is all in very good condition – what more do you want? The car was restored some years ago, including new front wings, rear wings, inner and outer sills, door skins and bare metal repaint, and we understand that the engine and running gear were also rebuilt. The car has been well cared for by the previous owner who had it for 6 years. The paintwork is still good and the interior which is mainly original, is good for its age. The under-bonnet area is very clean and tidy as is the underside of the car, which really is good. It drives nicely – no clunks or untoward noises and the engine ticks over smoothly, giving good performance through the gears. There is a good set of tyres and chrome wheel embellishers have been fitted, along with a stainless steel exhaust. The car comes with V5C, new MOT and a file of paperwork.
If you are interested in the car, please telephone (PLEASE don’t email your questions). We can tell you more and answer any questions you have – it’s so much quicker by phone, and to be honest, since lockdown, we have been inundated by email enquiries which take so long to answer.
We are always pleased to consider part-exchange especially for good MGs, or for othe interesting classics, and we can offer economic delivery to most parts of mainland Britain.
We also sell cars on a commission basis – no sale, no charge.
