This 3-owner MGB GT with overdrive was first registered on 1st August 1979. It is in its original distinctive Inca Yellow – in our opinion one of the best colours for a rubber bumper GT – complete with original grey stripy seats. The car shows a mileage of approximately 56,000, which is possibly correct. The first owner had the car for two years then sold it to a lady who retained the car all the way from 1981 to 2012. The third owner, from whom we purchased the car has maintained it to a very good standard and carried out any necessary repairs as and when needed. The car’s structure is very good, as are the paintwork and interior, and the engine bay is clean and tidy as is the underside of the car, which was Dinatrol rust protected at four months from new. It has an unleaded head and the runs and drives just as it should – no overheating, good tick-over and good performance, no nasty noises. Good tyres on alloy wheels, rear windscreen wiper and washer – apart from these, the car is standard, which makes a pleasant and refreshing change. Comes with MOT to 5th September 2021, V5C, Handbook and even the original ‘Passport to Service’. This is a very nice MGB, ready to take away and at a very reasonable price – no offers on this one.
If you are interested in the car, please telephone (PLEASE don’t email your questions). We can tell you more and answer any questions you have – it’s so much quicker by phone, and to be honest, since lockdown, we have been inundated by email enquiries which take so long to answer.
We are always pleased to consider part-exchange especially for good MGs, or for othe interesting classics, and we can offer economic delivery to most parts of mainland Britain.
We also sell cars on a commission basis – no sale, no charge.
Please telephone for more information on 01723 859886 or 07876 741183 (please, no texts) at any reasonable hour, 7 days a week.
