An early MGB Roadster, first registered in March 1966, and as you can see, in need of full restoration. The car has been off the road for many years – the last invoice in the file is dated 1994. It looks to be generally fairly sound, so we don’t think it needs a shell. This is a running and driving car, the engine sounds good and has good oil pressure, and the brakes work. It is an overdrive model, and luckily, it still retains its disc wheels – now very rare. The bonnet is aluminium. The interior and hood are original, but rough. The photographs say it all, so please have a good look – and no, you can’t drive it home and it won’t pass an MOT. Comes with modern V5C, old V5 and a few old receipts and MOTs. The current V5C states 5 former keepers. These early MGBs are becoming difficult to find, particularly if you are looking for a restoration project – so don’t delay!
We are always pleased to consider part-exchange especially for good MGs, or for othe interesting classics, and we can offer economic delivery to most parts of mainland Britain.
