MGC GT with Overdrive 1969

First registered on 1st May 1969, this MGC was first sold new by Prosser & Sons Ltd, Glasgow, and according to the V5C, has had only 6 previous keepers.  The car is in good condition, having been restored in 2002, and looks very well indeed in its original colour of dark British Racing Green, with black interior.  The car left the factory with chrome wire wheels, heater (yes, it was an extra!) and overdrive.  This is a matching numbers car, and comes with a Heritage Certificate confirming its details.  The structure of the car is very good, with well-fitting panels, good paint finish and good interior, all to the original specification.  The car starts well and the engine runs nicely, with plenty of power, good oil pressure etc.  Good-to-use gearbox with working overdrive – in fact everything seems to be in pretty good order.  The chrome work is fine, including the wire wheels.  The underside of the car is very tidy and the engine bay is really the only area that would benefit from a little tidying.  The car comes with V5C, old V5 and a pile of invoices, mainly from the 2002 restoration.  Just MOTd to 21/9/23, no advisories. A nice, comfortable old MGC at a good price.
