Triumph Herald 1200 Saloon

From the same stable as the Austin A40 advertised below, this is another extremely good classic car at a very affordable price.  First registered in June 1966, the car is very original indeed, and has been properly maintained by the current owner for the last 15 years.  There is none of the usual corrosion that you would expect, the body work is excellent with well fitting panels and good paint finish with only a few minor blemishes.  The under-bonnet area is nicely detailed, and the one-piece bonnet itself lifts and closes as it should do.  The interior of the car is in truly great condition and we think the seats are original, the headlining is good.   All the controls, dials and gauges work.  The underside is clean and tidy.  The wheels have recently been stove-enamelled and the chrome hub caps are all good.  The car drives nicely with an easy to use 4-speed gearbox, and nice quiet back axle.  An ideal car for classic shows or rallies, or even every day use.   We believe the mileage of 45,000 is correct.  Comes with V5C, file of paperwork including some invoices and old MOTs, hand book and workshop manual.

We are always pleased to consider part-exchange especially for good MGs, or for othe interesting classics, and we can offer economic delivery to most parts of mainland Britain.

We also sell cars on a commission basis – no sale, no charge.
