First registered on 18th June 1965, the first thing we must say about this extremely attractive motorcycle is that the mileage on the speedometer of 6150 would appear to be totally genuine and correct, supported by MOT certificates, a letter from Ian Thorogood (well-known motorcycle dealer) and a letter from Brian Crutcher (well-known Speedway ace of the 1950s), who owned the bike for 14 years (1978-92). The bike is in splendid condition throughout, and as far as we can see, there is nothing to be done. First class paintwork, chrome work, powder coating etc, and all nuts and bolts renewed or bright dipped; excellent wheels and tyres. Starts and runs well. The previous owner-but-one owned the bike for 22 years, but covered only around 1,000 miles. All paperwork will come with the bike, together with details of its restoration some years ago, the original green registration document from 1965, V5C, workshop manual, parts list and handbook. One of the nicest bikes we have seen for some time – serious interest only, please.
We are always pleased to consider part-exchange for pre-war or early post-war cars, or for good MGs, and can offer economic delivery to most parts of mainland Britain.
