This excellent TR3A was first registered on 1st January 1962 – it was exported to the USA from new, and there it spent most of its life, having a full body-off restoration in 2002. It returned to the UK in 2014 and even had a short spell in Italy, before finally settling in the UK in 2017. At this stage, the car had a refresh, with some £9,000 being spent, including full converstion to right-hand drive. The car is well finished in Sebring White, and the mechanics have been well maintained and are in excellent condition. The sturcture of the car is excellent, with very clean underside, well-fitting doors and all other panels. Brand new chrome wire wheels were fitted in March of this year and the tyres are good. The interior has recently been re-trimmed, including seats, door cards and carpets. The hood and side screens, tonneau and hood frame cover appear to be nearly new – we don’t think the hood has ever been used, although it fits well. The engine runs very well indeed with plenty of power, and with good oil pressure and no overheating. Many other improvements have been made to this car, and it is a delight to drive with its lovely 4-speed gearbox and disc brakes. Comes with V5C, MOT to August 2022, Heritage Certificate and some history.
