This is a really good example of the very desirable MGB GT, looking splendid in its shiny black livery. We understand that the car was restored some years ago, including bodywork, mechanics and interior and it remains in very good condition throughout with only a few age-related marks on the bodywork. The interior has obviously had a quality revamp with new door cards, carpets and leather-fronted seats. The headlining and sunroof are in excellent condition as are the dashboard and rear luggage area. The car stands on Minator alloy wheels, and again, these are in good condition. The underside is very clean and tidy and structurally excellent, and the under-bonnet area is neat and tidy. All the panels, including the door panels, fit well. The car starts easily and drives well, with good performance, correct oil pressure, nice gearbox with working overdrive, good clutch and back axle. The mileage shows 69,000, and in our opinion this is likely to be correct, although the MOT history we have only dates back to 2006. Comes with V5C, original handbook, file of old MOT certificates and invoices, and will come with MOT certificate to June 2027.
