First registered in July 1953, this genuine right-hand drive English vehicle has, according to its V5C, had only two owners since new – it is clearly stated that the first owner had the car from 1953 to 2001. It was restored a number of years ago and comes with a photograph album detailing the work as it progressed. The car is in very good all-round condition, with good paintwork and good interior, including leather seats. The door cards are excellent and the dashboard is in good condition with everything working. The car has a heater. The side screens and hood are in first class condition – they obviously have not been used very much. The chrome work is satisfactory. The car stands on its original disc wheels and all hub caps with badges are present; all five tyres are good. Underneath, the car is good and sound and the vehicle has been well maintained by the current owner. The engine bay needs a little tidying. The engine starts easily and runs smoothly with good oil pressure, no overheating. It drives along nicely through its 4-speed gearbox, no nasty noises.
This is a nice, most attractive and ready to use everyday car at an advantageous price, so serious enquiries only please. V5C, some old MOTs, and a carrier bag full of paperwork including invoices, and workshop manual come with the car. There is also a driver’s handbook.
