1964 Austin Mini Cooper 998cc – SOLD

1964 Austin Mini Cooper

We are very pleased to offer for sale this excellent and very original Mini Cooper, just out of 11-year ownership, and finished in the iconic colours of Almond Green and White. This mini was restored  in the late 1980s, and has been continually improved and cherished since then.  We understand that the mileage of 69,500 is correct.  The restoration was obviously carried out to a very good standard, including renovation of the bodywork and a repaint, a rebuild of the original engine and overhaul of the rubber suspension – all remaining in very, very good condition, and with just the right amount of patina.  The seating is pretty much like new, carpet, door cards and headlining are all excellent.  The underside of the body, sub-frame, seams, sills, A-posts are all good, so none of the usual rust problems to deal with.  Good wheels and tyres.  The car starts and drives just as it should, with that renowned handling and bags of power from the twin SU carburettor Cooper engine.  Lots and lots of fun, as you can see from the video, and surprisingly spacious inside.  Good paperwork file includes old invoices, old MOT certificates, old log books and current MOT Certificate to 17 March 2026.  V5C.

We are always pleased to consider part-exchange especially for good MGs, or for other interesting classics, and we can offer economic delivery to most parts of mainland Britain.

We also sell cars on a commission basis – no sale, no charge.

1977 MGB GT with Overdrive – SOLD

1977 MGB GT with Overdrive

We are pleased to offer for sale this MGB that has been in the same family ownership from new, first registered on 1st March 1977.  The family advises us that they believe the mileage to be correct, having been driven by only their father and mother during their period of ownership.  The car has had several periods of very low useage, hence the low mileage which currently reads 32,358, and we understand that this is correct up to 2018 (supported by the MOT certificate for that year).  Unfortunately, the odometer stopped working around this time, but the car has not been used since then, other than a recent run to the MOT station where it passed its test with no advisories in May of this year.  Paperwork includes the original V5 from 1977, later V5, when the car was transferred from husband to wife, and current V5C.  The car is in good condition, including its very original bodywork, paintwork and interior – as you might expect, there are a few blemishes on the paintwork.  The Webasto sunroof, more than likely fitted by the dealer from new, is still in good working order.  The wheels have been refurbished  and the current tyres were fitted in 2018.  The panel fit, including doors – being original – is of course, very good.  Driving this car is just as it should be with an MGB – easy start up, good performance and oil pressure and no overheating.  Quiet engine, gearbox and back axle – all working well, as does the overdrive, and all resulting in a well-performing motor car.  Original examples like this are very difficult to find.

We are always pleased to consider part-exchange especially for good MGs, and we can offer economic delivery to most parts of mainland Britain.

We also sell cars on a commission basis – no sale, no charge.

1980 MGB Roadster with Overdrive – One-Owner Car – SOLD

1980 MGB Roadster with Overdrive

We are very pleased to offer for sale this excellent, one-owner car that has covered only 63,000 miles from new.  The car has always been well cared for, and approximately ten years ago, it was treated to an extensive body restoration and top quality repaint.  There is an extensive history file, meticulously kept up to date by the current owner, and the car was serviced and MOTd in November – it is ready to enjoy straight away.  The bodywork is excellent with very good panel fit throughout and a very tidy underside, having none of the usual rust problems (the car was Ziebarted from new).  Engine bay and boot are also in very good order.  The original specification interior is very good, as you might expect.  The car starts on-the-button, and drives just like a young MGB with responsive engine, quiet gearbox and back axle and of course, fully working overdrive on third and top gears.  Electronic ignition has been fitted.  Comes with hood cover, full tonneau and quality MG car cover – see photograph of inside boot.  The wheels have been re-stove enamelled and the tyres have plenty of tread.  Other paperwork includes Heritage Certificate, original Passport to Service (the car was supplied by Arnold G Wilson), driver’s handbook and radio manual.

We are always pleased to consider part-exchange especially for good MGs, or for other interesting classics, and we can offer economic delivery to most parts of mainland Britain.

1933 Austin Seven RP Box Saloon – SOLD

1933 Austin Seven RP Box Saloon

A good example of the iconic Austin Seven – everyone has had one, still has one, wants one or will have one during their classic car life! Since 2016, the car has been sympathetically restored, including a full repaint in one of the favourite colour combinations, black and maroon. All necessary work to the mechanics and to the interior have also been completed. The underside of the car is very clean and tidy and all the floors have been painted inside the car, together with the dashboard. The engine has been rebuilt, along with a new clutch, and recently, the dynamo has been rebuilt. The wire wheels are in good condition with four matching tyres – hardly worn. The car starts easily and runs and drives very well with the correct oil pressure and no overheating. The gearbox, back axle and brakes are all good – this is a very nice-driving Austin Seven. Paperwork includes continuation book from 1976, current V5C and some old invoices.
