According to its Heritage Certificate, this beautiful MGB was built on 31^st December 1968 and dispatched to J Bryant & Sons of Birmingham.  They evidently sold the car very quickly as it was first registered on 1^st March 1969.  The car is in excellent condition throughout, having been extensively restored in the 1990s including full body refurbishment/repaint in Old English White, and replacement of the original engine with a high compression 18v unit (from a later car), with Overdrive and larger SU carburettors.  The cylinder head was converted to unleaded petrol.  It was again restored in 2023/24, with bare metal respray, plus renovation of the running gear – ie suspension, axles etc -photographs in the file show this.  The bodywork boasts excellent paint finish, good panel fit including doors – as you can see from our photos – and a lovely period interior with new leather seats, carpets etc.  The underside is in very tidy with superb structure including sills, floors, wings.  The car was serviced not many miles ago, and once we have obtained an MOT certificate, it will be ready for immediate use.  It starts easily and drives with plenty of power and good mechanicals as described above, including brakes, clutch, axle – this is a pleasure to drive.  Alloy wheels were fitted at some stage and have matching tyres.  History file includes Heritage Certificate, handbook, workshop manual, a wad of paperwork (old MOT certificates, invoices) and photographs.  V5C and will come with MOT to May 2027.

This is a truly excellent example of the iconic MGC Roadster, beautifully finished in British Racing Green with black leather interior, wire wheels and overdrive – what more could you possibly want?!!  This is a very good car indeed, having been restored twice in its lifetime, firstly in 1998 and then again in 2011, which included a full body and mechanical rebuild.  The interior trim has obviously been renewed at some stage including the leather seats, correct style door cards and new carpets.  Since the renovation work was completed, the car has been properly maintained and further improved, to include the fitting of power steering, electronic ignition, stainless steel exhaust, alloy radiator and electric cooling fans, telescopic rear shockers, new fuel pump and battery, hydraulic boot stays – and the number plate is now recessed (see photograph).  The wire wheels are excellent with matching Goodyear tyres all round, the hood is nearly new, and there is a good, full length tonneau with the car.  The boot is well carpeted and holds a correct spare wire wheel.  The chrome work is in nice condition, paintwork is spotless, and the interior of the car is superb, including the dashboard.  A high torque starter motor has been fitted, so combined with the electronic ignition, the car starts immediately, tick-over is good as is the oil pressure.  The engine was obviously rebuilt very well, as this car is real flier – smooth clutch and gearbox, smooth, working overdrive, so a great pleasure to drive.  Excellent brakes with a nice big servo unit.  Paperwork includes lots of old invoices, details of restoration work carried out (some photos), workshop manual, and MOT to April 2027.

This is a very interesting motor car, first registered on 1^st January 1948 (so built in 1947).  It was dispatched from new to the USA, where it was acquired by a well-known American racing driver, Bob Magenheimer, who campaigned the car at Sports Car Club of America events between 1949 and 1953.  He sold the car in the 1950s, but then subsequently bought it back and restored it in the 1960s.  It was later purchased by a new keeper in 1994 who later imported it back to the UK, where it was registered on 1^st December 2016.  The car has not been used much since returning to the UK, and it now requires extensive re-commissioning.  It appears to be in good, sound order with excellent bodywork and good paintwork, however, the doors will need re-hanging – hinges and catches are all, let’s say – more than loose.  The body panels are excellent, even the underside of the wings is well painted in red.  The chassis is good and sound, but the suspension could do with an overhaul.  The car is up and running, clutch and gearbox are fine, but the brakes are poor –  a full service will be needed.  The wiring loom needs a little work under the dashboard.  This said, this will make an excellent car and the price we are asking should be very attractive to a home restorer.  The chrome work is pretty good, the wheels look sound and the tyres have plenty of tread.  The hood, tonneau and side screens are in good, usable order and the seats and door cards again, are good.  A brand new stainless steel exhaust has just been fitted.  Comes with V5C, original handbook, car cover and many trophies won during its racing career, along with racing overalls, helmet and goggles worn by Bob Magenheimer.  As we have already suggested, we feel that this will made a very good car with not too much expense, depending on the buyer’s capabilities.

This is a delightful and well-restored early Morris Minor Traveller, first registered on 15^th February 1954, and built between 29^th January and 5^th February of that year –  a rare split windscreen model, in very good condition indeed, and with original export-type dashboard.  The vehicle was extensively restored in 2005, including full body rebuild and associated mechanical work.  The car remains in very good condition, having been well maintained by the current owner of 12 years, and whilst in his care, it has been further improved, including refurbishment of the timber work.  The upholstery is excellent and has clearly been renewed at some stage, with professionally fitted new headlining, carpets, and leather fronted seats.  More recently, the wooden cappings inside the car and door panels etc have been renewed.  You will see from the photographs that an original roof rack comes with the car – this is in very good condition and is a very straightforward job to fit.  The car’s structure is good, with very clean underside, pretty much unmarked paintwork, and the doors all fit well.  The engine bay is clean and tidy.  This Morris is a delight to drive, with everything working well and plenty of power from its 1098cc engine and gearbox (this is a later engine of larger capacity and makes quite a difference to the performance of these cars).  This car travels on very well indeed.  Recent new tyres all round, servo brakes, recent battery and electronic ignition.  In addition to the flashing indicators, there are working semaphores.  Paperwork file includes Heritage Certificate, old MOT certificates, invoices and lots of photographs of the restoration, V5C.

First registered on 19th August 1976, this is a very affordable MGB in good, sound condition, which has been well maintained since it last passed through our hands in May 2023.  The paintwork is generally nice, with a few age-related marks, the interior is excellent and has obviously been renewed in recent years, with black leather-fronted seats.  The dashboard is unmarked, and the good quality hood, again, renewed in recent times, is excellent, as are the matching tonneau and hood cover.  The car has had some restoration work carried out during its lifetime, and at some stage, it has had a new Gold Seal engine fitted. The matching tyres are all excellent and the original Rostyle wheels have been well restored. The boot area and engine bay are both clean and tidy, and the underneath structure of the car is good.  This is a very nice car to drive, with a strong engine providing very, very good performance, nice gearbox and back axle and smooth overdrive.
